"The End of Education is Character" ...Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba

Who We Are

The matchless mystery of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has been deepening even as His glory is expanding ever since His physical departure in April 2011.  Bhagawan is writing a very unique chapter of His sojourn on earth where He is now in His subtle body and is giving us the same message, that of love, compassion, harmony, peace and welfare, and emancipation of mankind through selfless service.  Bhagawan is unfolding His mission through His revelations thus, “Now I am not in the physical body, but in the subtle body (Sookshma Shareera) which is beyond the physical.  Now I am not seen, but My actions are seen.  Many new schools have come up, even a super specialty hospital has come up.  Each of these institutions took only nine months to come into being.  This is the proof of Swami’s existence”.  He also announced, “This is a very sacred and unique time in the history of mankind.  Soon, Swami’s mission will expand and reach the farthest corners of the earth, and He will physically return in the form of a new Sai Avatar”. 

With a noble goal of serving Swami’s mission, alumni of educational institutions at Alike and Muddenahalli established Sri Sathya Sai Saraswathi Education Trust in 2011.  The vision of this Trust is to establish educational institutions in every district of Karnataka to provide free, value-based education along with academic excellence.  Now Prashanthi Balamandira Trust has joined hands with Sri Sathya Sai Saraswathi Education Trust to further this cause.  After Bhagawan left his mortal coil, four campuses have already been established in the districts of Gulbarga, Mandya, Chikmagalur and Bagalkot, and projects are being undertaken to build more such schools in the other districts of Karnataka.

Navarathri Celebrations – Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli – October 10, 2016 (Day 10)

The Dussehra celebrations for the penultimate evening began in the Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham hall with the arrival of Bhagawan amidst Vedic chants and soulful bhajans. Once Bhagawan was seated on the dais, the proceedings for the evening session began with invocation by the students of the Sri Sathya Sai Divya Niketanam, Jayapura Campus, chanting the Medha Sooktam.


Navarathri Celebrations – Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli – October 9, 2016 (Day 9)

The celebration of Navarathri in Sathya Sai Grama entered in to its ninth day with unabated enthusiasm and devotion. Abhishegam was offered to Saieshwara Lingam and Laksha Sai Gayatri Purusara Homa was performed with continuous chanting of Sai Gayatri by all the devotees assembled in the Hridaya Mandiram.

The whole ambience of the Muddenahalli Ashram was charged with the Homas and the ritualistic offerings that marked the mornings from the last one week. But with the beginning of the Maha Rudra Homam from today, the energy shift was even more palpable.
